Photography

Photography is an important part in my life; both in my work as well as in my free time.

My activities are:

I´m an education coordinator for the Centre for Extension Studies at the University of Turku. I design and organize courses in the fields of psychotherapy, mental health, and I have projects for health-promoting in organizations. Phototherapy training courses for therapists and counsellors are my specialities.

I´m a licensed professional psychotherapist and I work as therapist one day a week in private practice. I use phototherapy methods in therapy. I´m specialized in Trauma Therapy and have written my thesis on: “The Power of Photos in Trauma-therapy”.

I have had photogalleries two times: Studio Spectro 1999 and Galleria Spectro 2003-2004

I hade created Spectrocards, they are photo cards which are used to trigger associations, memories and feelings. They are used by several therapist and counsellors.

I´m a chairperson for The Finnish Association for Phototherapy was established in February 2004. http://www.valokuvaterapiayhdistys.net/
