Education and Organisational Development
I work in the Centre for Extension Studies at the
University of Turku as an education coordinator. I organize trainings in the
field of psychotherapy and mental health, and projects in organisational
development.
In addition to working with comprehensive education
entities and seminars I also work as an organisational developer and educator.
I have qualifications for organisational development work through professional
specialized studies “Developing Work and Organizations” (Professional
Development PD).
I qualified as a psychotherapist in autumn 2003. I use
my professional skills, among other things, in projects concerning welfare in
workplace communities. In addition to this I am trainer on phototherapy.

Specialist
and Confidential Posts
I served as a specialist member (secretary) in a
psychotherapist education committee appointed by the Ministry of Education and
the Ministry of Social Affairs during the years 2001 – 2003. The report of the
committee was published in March 2003 (The reports and accounts of the Ministry
of Education 2003:6). The report of the committee can be seen in the Ministry
of Education’s web pages, in the section publications. I am the chairman of the
board of directors in the Finnish Association for Phototherapy.
